Your Body Is A Business is a cinematic AI hybrid docu-series in the tradition of ESPN's 30 for 30 — but with a lens that extends far beyond the field.
Every episode spotlights that razor's edge moment — in sports, art, business, and everyday life — where an individual is pushed beyond breaking and must decide whether to surrender or rise. The body is the instrument. The choices made with it determine everything else.
"You don't just play football. You negotiate with your own body every single day. And the day you lose that negotiation, it's over."
Hosted by Thomas Q. Jones — 12-year NFL veteran, first-round pick, Super Bowl participant — the series explores the intersection of physical performance, economic survival, and identity. Jones brings unfiltered access to the decisions no one else will talk about: the injuries hidden from teams, the financial pressures that keep players on the field past the point of safety, and the life that has to be built when the career ends.
This is not a show about glory. It is a show about the cost of it.
Thomas Q. Jones is one of the most durable running backs in NFL history. Drafted 7th overall by the Arizona Cardinals in the 2000 NFL Draft out of the University of Virginia, Jones played 12 seasons across five franchises — the Cardinals, Chicago Bears, New York Jets, Kansas City Chiefs, and Pittsburgh Steelers — rushing for 10,591 career yards.
At a position with the shortest average career in professional sport, Jones lasted longer than almost anyone. He earned a Super Bowl ring, made multiple Pro Bowl appearances, and became one of the most consistent backs of his generation — not by avoiding punishment, but by managing it. By treating the body as an asset to be protected, invested in, and negotiated with.
After retiring, Jones moved into acting, entrepreneurship, and production. In Your Body Is A Business, he turns the camera on himself — and on the athletes, artists, and high-performers who understand that the body is not just a tool. It is the business.
